After a successful RFC, the Guidelines For Threading has been published. This document presents steps towards enhancing interoperability and efficiency in CAPE-OPEN compliant applications, specifically addressing the implementation of marshalling across diverse operating systems and remote machine environments.
This document outlines the key design requirements for threading in COBIA, particularly focusing on its implications. It provides a view of the threading models adopted by COBIA, including their compatibility with existing COM components, and offers guidelines for best practices in multithreaded application development.
