The Methods and Tools Special Interest Group is working simultaneously on clarifying the existing specification documents on CAPE-OPEN Common Interfaces, on finalizing the Flowsheet Monitoring interface specification and on the development of a CAPE-OPEN Object Model. These various areas of work ask for a multi-year commitment which is translated into the approved Charter.
The SIG remains under the leadership of Dr. Bill BARRET from US EPA and acknowledges the continuous input received especially from Dr. Jasper van BATEN at AmsterCHEM and Dr. Michael HLAVINKA at Bryan Research & Engineering.
