PPDS is a software suite used extensively in the chemical production, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, fine chemical, power generation and process industries. PPDS can be used in process simulators as a CAPE-OPEN Thermo System (version 1.0 of the CAPE-OPEN standards) as well as a CAPE-OPEN Property Package Manager (version 1.1 of the CAPE-OPEN standards).
The license will be used for testing the implementation of the CAPE-OPEN interfaces in PPDS.
CO-LaN is thankful for this arrangement that is proving very valuable for continuous monitoring of the interoperability achieved between various software components acting either as Process Modelling Environments or Process Modelling Components.
