Andrea Galeazzi is a Ph.D. candidate in process systems engineering at Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. Flavio Manenti. His research is aimed at the development of machine learning techniques for aiding the creation of industrial plants' digital twins, with the goal of obtaining a broader understanding of plants' status and monitoring of equipment. Currently, he is working with the Yokogawa DCS (Exaquantum) of the circular oil refinery of Itelyum in Lodi (Italy) in order to implement solutions for plant monitoring and optimization.
