A conference call was arranged on February 24, 2017 from 4:30 pm (Central European Time) till 5:30 pm by the Interoperability Special Interest Group.
Context: a new version of installers of the CAPE-OPEN Type Libraries (TLBs) and Primary Interop Assemblies (PIAs) has been released (version 2.0) together with a developer guide explaining how to make use of these installers (public release approved on February 9, 2017 by CO-LaN Management Board). The CAPE-OPEN TLBs and PIAs are an integral part of the standard.
Agenda: on behalf of the Interoperability SIG, Michael HALLORAN presented the contents of the guide in order to inform developers of software implementing CAPE-OPEN interfaces on how they should use the new installers within the installation package of their own software. Michael also demonstrated usage of the installers and answered questions raised by attendees from Aspentech, HTRI, Technische Universität Berlin, Schneider Electric, KBC Advanced Technologies, Linde Engineering, Bryan Research & Engineering, Hafnium Labs, US Environmental Protection Agency..
