Agenda
- Finalization of presentation reporting on Thermo SIG activities for use at the CAPE-OPEN 2022 Annual Meeting
- Progressing the Manager Common Interface specification
Participants
AmsterCHEM (represented by Jasper van BATEN), University of Cape Town (represented by Klaus MÖLLER), Hafnium Labs (represented by Bjørn MARIBO-MOGENSEN), Michel PONS (Consultant as Chief Technology Officer), apologies received from BASF (represented by Sergej BLAGOV)
Highlights
The activity report to be presented at the CAPE-OPEN 2022 Annual Meeting has been finalized, starting from an update (taking into account comments received in between meetings) provided by AmsterCHEM: no major changes but clarifications brought to several slides.
The new slide package has been distributed to the Thermo SIG.
The document on the Manager Common Interface specification has been further progressed with some revision brought to two Use Cases, complete rewriting of an existing Use Case and addition of a new Use Case pertaining to the configuration of a Manager. While developing this new Use Case, an addition was made to the design section, making it clear what is expected from changes made to the configuration of a Manager.
The Use Case section is considered as finalized and Thermo SIG will next proceed with developing/revising UML diagrams that explain the design.
Next conference call is scheduled for September 27, 2022.
Any CO-LaN Member interested in the Thermo SIG activities is welcome to join this Special Interest Group. Contact the co-leaders of the SIG for further information: Sergej BLAGOV at BASF () and Jasper van BATEN at AmsterCHEM (). The Thermo SIG is looking for additional parties, well versed into any aspect of thermodynamics applied to process simulation and willing to contribute to the maintenance and development of CAPE-OPEN interface specifications related to thermodynamical aspects.
