The Thermo SIG met from 10:30 am till 12:15 pm (Central European Time) on March 7, 2017.
Participants: Sergej BLAGOV (BASF), Jasper van BATEN (AmsterCHEM), Bjørn MARIBO-MOGENSEN (Hafnium Labs), Michel PONS
Agenda: develop specifications of interfaces (description of methods) for additional interfaces (reactive equilibrium and compound slates)
Outcome: the group experienced some difficulties finding a consensus on the organization of Compound Slates provided by a Compound Server (is it possible to have several Compound Slates with only true compounds?). Definitions for apparent compounds and true compounds could be improved in the glossary to be closer to the experience an end-user gets from thes descriptive compound qualifiers. On other matters, the choice of making the Master Compound Slate (i.e. the default Compound Slate), the first one in the list of Compound Slates offered by a Property Package, has been stabilized. Still arguing on which Compound Slate information should be returned by the method providing the list of Compound Slates and which additional pieces of information could be obtained through a specific method aimed at describing each Compound Slate.
