The Thermo SIG met from 10:30 am till 12:15 (Central European Time).
Attendees: Sergej BLAGOV (BASF), Jasper van BATEN (AmsterCHEM), Michel PONS
Outcome: discussed the naming of the interface and its methods related to Reactive Equilibria. For especially the purpose to make a design which will simply evolves when all equilibrium servers will be capable to deal with reactive equilibria within a new version of the CAPE-OPEN standards, a proposal was made to name the interface carrying access to reactive equilibria without making reference to reaction but just as an extension to the interface ICapeThermoEquilibriumRoutine present in Thermo 1.1. An additional argument has been introduced in both CalcEquilibrium and CheckEquilibriumSpec in order to specify the type of equilibrium to be considered by the Equilibrium Server while a new method has been proposed to let the client of the Equilibrium Server get information on the type of phase equilibrium (reactive or not) supported by the Equilibrium Server. This proposal has been sent for comment to Bjørn MARIBO-MOGENSEN (Hafnium Labs), to Mark STIJNMAN (Shell Global Solutions) and to Richard SZCZEPANSKI (KBCAT).
