The Thermo SIG met from 10:30 am till 12:35 pm (Central European Time).
Agenda: modify the chapter on Compound Slates in order to integrate the revised approach on context-awareness.
Participants: Sergej BLAGOV (BASF), Jasper van BATEN (AmsterCHEM), Mark STIJNMAN (Shell Global Solutions), Michel PONS (CTO)
Outcome: Use Cases 4 and 5 of the chapter dedicated to Compound Slates have been reviewed and modified. They address conversion of a single phase composition from one Compound Slate to another Compound Slate. Use Case 4 considers the point of view of the PME while Use Case 5 considers the point of view of the Property Package. Use Case 4 invokes Use Case 5. Next step is to address similar Use Cases but for the overall composition.
The participants also briefly addressed an issue raised in the scoping of COBIA Phase 2. The ICapeThermoMaterialTemplateSystem interface which is defined in Thermo 1.0 seems relevant, in most of its functionality, to Thermo 1.1 while it is nor defined as applicable to Thermo 1.1. A flavor of ICapeThermoMaterialTemplateSystem was outlined for inclusion in COBIA Phase 2 and a draft of a proposal prepared.
