Scope of COBIA Phase III.
Highlights
The participants reviewed and finalized the memo to be sent to CO-LaN Management Board as a request to initiate Phase III of the COBIA development project. The memo was progressed between Bill BARRETT and Michel PONS since the previous meeting of the Methods & Tools Special Interest Group.
The memo summarizes the main goals of Phase III, describes the organization of the work in work packages, lists the deliverables and expresses the views of the Methods & Tools Special Interest Group on the prioritization of language bindings to be developed during Phase III (taking into consideration the feedback received from participants to the CAPE-OPEN 2020 Annual Meeting who made their own prioritization).
The memo was provided to CO-LaN Management Board for their consideration on January 14, 2021. A decision is expected in the coming weeks.
Next the Methods & Tools Special Interest Group worked on the detailed specification of the work to be done in Phase III.
