Summary
The group pursued the development of a memo describing the overall interface design for providing functionalities around currency through CAPE-OPEN interfaces.
The relevance of the ISO 4217 was confirmed. The functionality put on a PMC to display the currency in use internally has been separated from the functionality providing currency conversion since this one has not the same priority with respect to user needs and is implemented by the PME.
The need for a PMC to be consistent in the currency used for any input/output Parameters has been expressed. This requirement simplifies the communication over currency and avoids having the currency present on each Real parameter.
Consideration was made on how an Information Stream, relying on Parameter by design, is addressing currency conversion between source and destination of such a stream.
