SimTech GmbH

SimTech is a company that provides state-of-the art tools and services for the analysis and optimization of process systems. SimTech was founded in 1991, as a spin-off from the Institute for Thermal Turbomachinery and Machine Dynamics of Graz University of Technology. SimTech GmbH develops IPSEPro as its main software product, a heat balance and process simulation package.

SimTech GmbH joined CO-LaN on January 30, 2006 and its General Manager, Dr Erhard PERZ, designated as representative of SimTech in CO-LaN, attended the CAPE-OPEN 2006 Annual Meeting held shortly after.

On March 9, 2021 SimTech GmbH notified CO-LaN of their intent to resign from CO-LaN. CO-LaN Management Board acknowledged SimTech’s resignation on March 11, 2021 and therefore canceled SimTech GmbH’s associate membership in CO-LaN.
