Thesis on CAPE-OPEN at LIG

Laurent PIGEON has successfully defended his thesis on “Distributed Interoperable Environment for Numerical Simulations using CAPE-OPEN Components” at Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, France. Laurent developed his work within the Laboratoire d’Informatique de Grenoble (LIG).

Laurent participated to the 3rd CAPE-OPEN European Conference in March 2006 and presented there the results of his work in terms of scheduling calculation of CAPE-OPEN Process Modelling Components within the model of an offshore oil production network. The thesis work was financially and technically supported by IFP and took advantage of the draft version of the CAPE-OPEN dynamic unit operation interface specification.
