Michael Halloran was a contributor to the CAPE-OPEN standards development process while working for Aspen Technology. He received the CAPE-OPEN Award 2002 together with Daniel Pinol and Richard Szczepanski for his work in the Interoperability Task Force of the Global CAPE-OPEN project. Michael has also been very involved in designing version 1.1 of theThermodynamic and Physical Properties interface specification.
Since 2006 Michael Halloran has been acting as a part-time consultant to CO-LaN particularly with respect to the development process of the CAPE-OPEN Logging and Testing Tool after having developed the first prototype of this tool.
