The Thermo SIG met from 10:30 am till 12:30 pm (Central European Time).
Agenda:
Modify the chapter on Compound Slates in order to integrate the revised approach on context-awareness.
Participants:
Sergej BLAGOV (BASF), Jasper van BATEN (AmsterCHEM), Mark STIJNMAN (Shell Global Solutions), Bjørn MARIBO-MOGENSEN (Hafnium Labs), Michel PONS (CO-LaN)
Summary:
Thirty five minutes were spent at improving the report presentation prepared for the CAPE-OPEN 2017 Annual Meeting, especially figuring out a way to make more understandable the switch from Delegate Material Objects to active Compound Slates.
Then Thermo SIG progressed the revision of the Chemical Reactions interface specification. The team struggled between adding a Use Case to express the need for the PME to synchronize the Compound list within all Compound Slates of interest or to develop a new requirement. Finally, in part for reasons pertaining to the way the Thermodynamic and Physical Properties interface specification 1.1 is written (no Use Case explicited), it was deemed easier to structure the revised Chemical Reactions interface specification with an additional requirement (REQ-43-PME) which expresses when and where the PME is required to perform such a synchronisation.
In the midst of this discussion the errata and clarifications document on the Thermodynamic and Physical Properties interface specification 1.1 was also progressed to version 3.1.0001. It now includes a clarification on re-establishing connection between PME and Property Package.
Then the discussion moved back to better explaining the flow of events in Use Case UC-CS-003 “PME configures subset of Compounds for use with Material Template”.
