The Tulsa University Fluid Flow Projects (TUFFP) is a cooperative Industry-University research group supported by several oil and gas production, consulting, service member companies and government agencies. The group was formed January 1, 1973 by Dr. James P. Brill. The mission of TUFFP is to conduct applied research and develop solutions for problems encountered by the member companies pertaining to multiphase fluid flow in pipes. At any given time, there could be between 4 and 7 research projects actively being conducted that are selected by the TUFFP member companies. Research is supported by annual membership fees.
