CAPE-OPEN related work
ProMax is implementing sockets for Thermo 1.0, Thermo 1.1 as well as UNIT. Some Unit Operations of the ProMax library are available as CAPE-OPEN Unit Operations while the thermodynamic server of ProMax can export CAPE-OPEN Property Packages under version 1.0 or version 1.1. This was described by Michael HLAVINKA during the CAPE-OPEN session held at the AIChE 2012 Annual Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA.
Michael HLAVINKA and people working for him are taking an active part in the Methods & Tools Special Interest Group activities.
Mauricio LOPEZ participated to the CAPE-OPEN 2014 Annual Meeting in Mörfelden, Germany where he demonstrated the interoperability of ProMax with other CAPE-OPEN software.
Michael HLAVINKA participated to the CAPE-OPEN 2016 Annual Meeting in Pullach, Germany and to the CAPE-OPEN 2018 Annual Meeting in Ludwigshafen, Germany. There Michael HLAVINKA presented the activity report of the Methods & Tools Special Interest Group over the period October 2017 – October 2018.
Michael HLAVINLA participated to the CAPE-OPEN 2019 Annual Meeting held in Amsterdam and presented there the activity report of the Methods & Tools Special Interest Group over the period October 2018 – October 2019.
Michael HLAVINKA participated to the CAPE-OPEN 2020 Annual Meeting and to the CAPE-OPEN 2021 Annual Meeting which were held virtually. At the CAPE-OPEN 2022 Annual Meeting, that Michael HLAVINKA attended physically in Pullach, Germany, Michael HLAVINKA delivered the activity report of the Methods & Tools Special Interest Group. He was also the co-author of the presentation of COBIA Threading Models.
Bryan Research & Engineering was presented the CAPE-OPEN 2016 Award in October 2017.
Bryan Research & Engineering, LLC participates to the program providing licenses of process simulation software to CO-LaN for test purposes (2012).
