The Methods & Tools Special Interest Group and the Interoperability Special Interest Group held a joint meeting from 5:30 pm till 6:30 pm Central European Time.
Participants
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (represented by Bill BARRETT) as Methods & Tools SIG leader, AmsterCHEM (represented by Jasper van BATEN), Bryan Research & Engineering (represented by Michael HLAVINKA), Malcolm WOODMAN, as Interoperability SIG leader, Michel PONS (contractor to CO-LaN as Chief Technology Officer).
Highlights
Members of both Special Interest Groups acted upon the comments made by Malcolm WOODMAN on the latest version of the document describing the CAPE-OPEN Version Number protocol and its application to the different CAPE-OPEN artefacts distributed by CO-LaN.
Two entries of the glossary were updated, especially the definition of what is a CAPE-OPEN Session, as well as two sections about the different CAPE-OPEN artefacts, the one on license notices and the one on software object categorization. These two sections have been made shorter and more to the point.
The document version has been moved to version 1.12 as a result of these modifications.
More comments from Malcolm WOODMAN, especially on various aspects of the registration of supported CAPE-OPEN version numbers, will be tackled at the next joint meeting that will be held on February 7, 2023.
