Highlights
Methods & Tools Special Interest Group reviewed the need to release a maintenance version of COBIA 1.2.
SINTEF, while developing a COBIA-based Process Modelling Component, has pointed out one issue that can be easily fixed and should be. Several small fixes have been made since the release of COBIA 1.2.0.9 at the end of March 2022 and could find their place in a maintenance release. M&T SIG looked into each of the support tickets that would be addressed by COBIA 1.2.0.10, made the necessary decisions on how to fix some of them and targeted end of October for releasing COBIA 1.2.0.10.
One issue tackled by COBIA 1.2.0.10 is the value of CapeVersion entered in the Windows Registry by COMBIA for the COM Object representing a COBIA-based application. Methods & Tools SIG modified the Versioning Protocol document in order to properly addressed there the corresponding point. The Versioning Protocol is developed together with the Interoperability Special Interest Group.
