IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPEN) has designated today Martin GAINVILLE as its representative in CO-LaN.
Martin is well known within the CAPE-OPEN community. He took part in the TINA research project between IFPEN, TOTAL and RSI (now CORYS) where he developed dynamic CAPE-OPEN Unit Operations. He also served as leader of the Hydrodynamic Special Interest Group which drafted a CAPE-OPEN interface specification for hydrodynamic modules and he participated in the development of a prototype implementation of this specification.
He attended several CAPE-OPEN Annual Meetings including the CAPE-OPEN 2021 Annual Meeting where he presented on the use at IFPEN of the Python CAPE-OPEN Thermo Inport and of the Python CAPE-OPEN Unit Operation. His request of such a Unit Operation was a key factor in AmsterCHEM developing this new application.
Welcome to Martin!
