The Methods & Tools Special Interest Group met today from 5 pm till 6:25 pm Central European Summer Time.

Apologies were received from Bryan Research & Engineering (represented by Michael HLAVINKA), unable to attend because experiencing no internet service in their area due to a fiber optic cable that had been cut.

Highlights
The participants revised the two sequence diagrams to be inserted in the Persistence Common interface specification document, one for the action of saving data from a Persistable Object in a Writer Object, the other pertaining to the retrieval of data by a Persistable Object from a Reader Object. Minus some further polishing to be made by Bill BARRETT, the two sequence diagrams appear to be finished, clearly stating the steps involved in both activities.
At the very end of the meeting, a point was discussed on the technical specification of Phase III of the COBIA development project, as revised during the meeting held on January 20, 2021: it showed the need for a high-level view diagram different than the current one. The new diagram should contain caller object, callee object, proxies and marshalers. Indeed marshalers are missing from the current diagram exported from the most recent presentation on COBIA.
