At the CAPE-OPEN 2020 Annual Meeting, Dr Michel PONS, Chief Technology Officer of the CAPE-OPEN Laboratories Network (CO-LaN), offered his views on what CAPE-OPEN 2.0 could be.
The CAPE-OPEN standard is on the move again with additional interface specifications being released and with version 1.2 being released together with the COBIA Software Development Kit at the completion of COBIA Phase 2. The COBIA development project offers CO-LaN a vector and a possibility to address several outstanding issues, to cover new areas. Dr Mark STIJNMAN from Shell Global Solutions presented at the CAPE-OPEN 2019 Annual Meeting on his own views regarding CAPE-OPEN 2.0.
