Highlights

The specification of the installers for the COBIA End-User Redistributable and COBIA Software Development KIt is further progressed. Comments made on an earlier version by Michael HALLORAN are taken into consideration and answered to. The focus is on the COBIA registry files and the issue is whether to provided a registry file with the End-User Redistributable merge module. Already the End-User Redistributable contains the executable which is accessing the registry file. If the installation package of a COBIA-based Process Modelling Component contains a registry file, it should be deleted at uninstallation of this component, as per Microsoft’s rules.If the registry file is installed by the End-User Redistributable, it should not wiped out any previously existing registry file.
